Today, I'm taking you behind the scenes to see the daily routine of a cosmetics workshop and discover how bottles of perfume their way from the assembly line into your hands.

Upon entering the workshop, the most noticeable thing is the uniform blue dust-proof caps (hairnets) worn by the workers. In the cosmetics industry, hygiene is always the first line of defense. Regardless of the production volume, wearing them correctly to reduce hair loss and dust contamination is the bottom line for ensuring the safety of every bottle of product.

Manual re-inspection: After efficient machine filling, the stacks of instruction manuals folded by hand, as well as the subsequent boxing operations, all require manual intervention. Experienced packaging staff will touch, look, and verify to ensure that every instruction manual is folded in the correct direction and that none are missing.

If the conveyor belt is too fast, it is easy to miss items during packing; if it is too slow, it affects production capacity of perfume. Therefore, the experienced veteran workers on the front line have trained themselves to have quick hands. Not only can they keep up with the pace, but they can also sense in the moment of packing whether a bottle is leaking or if the nozzle is functioning smoothly. This keen attention to detail is something that automated machines cannot yet replace.
