Understand Cosmetic aerosol valve systems

2025-01-20

Cosmetic aerosol valve is a key part of the Cosmetic aerosol, although the valve is insignificant, but it plays a very important role in the function of the Cosmetic aerosol, which is not only related to the sealing of the product, but also related to the ejection effect, but also related to the stability of the product. The valve system refers to a closed mechanical device fixed on the Cosmetic aerosol container to ensure that the contents do not leak when closed, and the contents can be ejected through the actuator in a predetermined form and speed when actuated.

The Cosmetic aerosol valve is composed of seven parts, such as sealing cup, valve stem, valve chamber, spring and suction pipe.

(1) Sealing cup: The role is to fix the valve on the container, usually iron products, divided into uncoated tinplate and painted layer; Wilson can supply aluminum products, coated with epoxy resin films if necessary.

(2) Valve stem: is the core part of the valve, usually made of nylon or stainless steel, including the inner hole and expansion chamber. If it is a quantitative valve, the lower end of the valve should have a fine groove (liquid primer tank) for the product to enter the quantitative chamber.

(3) Valve chamber: plays a quantitative spray role. Its capacity determines the Cosmetic aerosol to give an accurate dose at a time. The material is usually nylon. The part of the lower end that extends into the container has two small holes, which are sealed with rubber washers. When the propellant is canned, due to the high pressure of the tank installation system, the propellant can be injected into the container through a small hole, and the small hole is still sealed by the washer after the canning, so that the contents cannot leak out.

(4) Liquid pipe: connected to the lower part of the valve rod, its role is to transport the contents to the valve system, according to the intubation method can be divided into internal intubation and external intubation. It is usually made of polyethylene or polypropylene.

Wilson will choose the right valve according to the customer's needs in production to ensure the stability and durability of the product in different environments, which is critical to the successful launch and market performance of the Cosmetic aerosol product. Wilson also performs high and low temperature tests to evaluate valve performance at different temperatures to ensure that the product will work properly in a variety of environments. ‌
